Albert Camus once said, “Live to the point of tears”. This is one of my favourite quotes, one that I try to keep in mind daily, one where the tears mean the thrilling emotion of acknowledging life. I believe that living wholeheartedly and with a constant sense of marvel is the key to get to an awareness of the world we live in and to reach happiness.
Nature and Humanity enchant me. I am passionate about the great mysteries of life and I love to spend time revolving around them. You can find me on a mild summer late afternoon, sitting by the sea, reading a book. I will gaze at the glittering waves of sunset reflections, taking a pause to simply feel while I postpone the pleasure of turning the page of that brilliant philosophical novel. I do indeed like books. In fact, I work with them everyday, surrounding my self with blissful entropy of notes, articles and opened pages that serve as an inspiration for writing down my work. But this is only a part of it, as I could never do it only by sitting in libraries or in front of the computer. That is why the reality of everyday people’s life is the other part of my lab. The diversity in people makes me curious and I like to meet with this diversity and try to know it and understand it.
In my free time I love to have fun with my friends and I keep myself busy with cinema, museums and concert dates. I have a good sense of humor, and really appreciate a relaxed and interesting conversation over a glass of wine. I like people for what they are. I am very gentle and patient, welcoming new friends with a smile and a warm approach. For me, love is an apprenticeship based on mutual respect and altruism and I see its beauty resting in the multiplicity of its forms. Romantic passion is definitely one of the most striking ones and I believe one of the most precious things we have the opportunity to experience in life.
